OUR HISTORY

Although established in 2007, Cubo Property Group has a far deeper connection to the construction industry, dating back to 1987 when Michael Di Pietro began constructing residential warehouse shells. Since then our family owned and operated building company has evolved into a diverse construction, property development and property management business with a reputation based on our attention to detail and commitment to producing only the highest quality residential developments. We have proudly contributed to Melbourne’s residential landscape with numerous townhouse and apartment developments in a variety of locations across the city.

PEOPLE

MICHAEL DI PIETRO, SNR

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Michael founded Cubo Group in 2007 before the construction of his biggest project to date, ‘Cubo’ in Richmond. Property is Michael’s passion, beginning with nothing in 1984, Michael’s entrepreneurial instinct and hard-working attitude has seen him rise to become a well respected contributor to the construction industry in Melbourne.

Michael is responsible for the identification and facilitation of new development projects for Cubo Group as well as the procurement of project funding, and is regularly involved throughout the planning, design, development and construction processes as well as the general day-to-day running of Cubo Group.

MICHAEL DI PIETRO, JNR

CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Michael always knew he wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps into the construction industry. Beginning as a bricklayer’s labourer, Michael completed his studies at RMIT University and began work as a project manager at Maben Group before deciding to join the family business.

Michael is responsible for the management of all Cubo Group projects, as well as running Cubo Projects, the in-house builder for Cubo Group developments. Michael is a committed, affable hard worker who aims to ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard.

MATTHEW DI PIETRO

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATOR

Matthew is new to the construction industry having recently completed his business degree at RMIT University and has taken on the role of contract administrator, supporting the procurement and construction process by ensuring the effective administration of contracts and commercial terms. Matthew also provides assistance to Michael Jnr with on-site.
